Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Skillometer, operated by Project Vi Co (“we”, “us”), collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use our website and assessment platform. We process personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (PDPL) and its implementing regulations.

Who we are and our role

Project Vi Co operates the Skillometer candidate-assessment platform for hiring purposes.

For candidate assessment data, the hiring company that invited the candidate is the data controller, and we act as a processor on its behalf. For company account and billing data, we are the data controller.

Data we collect

  • Candidate data: full name, optional email or phone, assessment answers, time spent per question, and the generated report.
  • Company account data: name, work email, company name, role, and authentication credentials.
  • Billing data: subscription plan, payment records, and the tax details required to issue invoices. Card payments are handled by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, and log data collected automatically for security and service operation.

How we use personal data

  • To create and deliver assessment reports to the hiring company.
  • To provide, maintain, and secure the platform.
  • To process subscriptions and payments and to issue tax invoices.
  • To communicate with you about your account and support requests.
  • To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

Legal basis

We process personal data on the basis of the candidate’s consent, the performance of a contract with subscribing companies, and our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, consistent with the PDPL.

Sharing and sub-processors

We share personal data only as needed to provide the service:

  • With the hiring company that invited the candidate.
  • With service providers that host and power the platform, including cloud hosting, AI report generation, one-time-password verification, and payment processing.
  • When required by law or by a competent authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

International transfers

Some of our service providers may process data outside the Kingdom. Where this occurs, we apply the appropriate safeguards required by the PDPL to protect your data.

Data retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the service and to meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations. Assessment data is retained on behalf of the hiring company and deleted on its instruction or when no longer needed.

Your rights

Under the PDPL you have the right to be informed, to access your data, to request correction, and to request deletion, subject to legal limits.

Candidates should exercise these rights through the company that invited them, as that company controls the assessment data. For account data, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA).

Security

We use technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging — to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

Cookies

We use only the essential cookies required for authentication and security. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Children

The platform is intended for adults in a professional hiring context and is not directed at children under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date below indicates the latest revision, and material changes will be reflected on this page.
